Quantum Zero

A young, over-achieved, Berkeley Physics professor is lured to a top-secret quantum computer project in Switzerland at the Supercollider. The prospect of worldwide super-computing power in the hands of kids on their phones is irresistible.  The rare African American in the white person world of Geneva is further challenged by a handsome, Italian co-worker on the project. Befriended by an odd man who plays chess with himself in a park, her world begins to change, her eyes open to quantum mysteries she’s never seen; she realizes that the project she is on is not what it seems. A realization that could cost her her life and the world a lot more.
