Threatened with extinction, an advanced civilization inhabiting a parallel universe on Earth sends the most unlikely of emissaries across the time stream to impersonate the newly elected President of the United States.  He has one year to turn the mess around or they terminate the entire human race, including him.

In the vein of Wag the Dog and Network this comedy satire also features “the smartest guy in the room” - it’s a dog.
